Well, I voted. What horrible choices. Now it is in God's hands. We are not a swing state, so my choice of President is irrelevant, but we did have some state races and ballot issues of importance.... Gambling, casinos, marijuana, road bill Here's what our polling place was like at 7:30 am. We had 2 ...

This ad has been out a long time in the Catholic community. Huckabee just did a voice over. I think someone on here posted it at one time. I don't know how to embed it, but ck youtube for Test of Fire: Election 2012 (official HD version - Catholic).

My thoughts: Both were annoying at times with their smirks. But Biden's laughing was too much. In a debate, when you cannot rebut a statement and revert to calling it malarkey, you lose. It either means you cannot factually argue the point, you aren't prepared to argue the point or you have a poor v...

I don't really agree with his general style of leadership, which I liken more to a college professor ("okay, class ... go off and bring me back a budget and then I'll grade it") than to the type of leadership approach that I think we need now. Love that description. I agree. But Romney do...

Just want to give a personal perspective on this issue: My nephew recently married an illegal from Nicaragua. Her parents immigrated LEGALLY from Nicaragua when she was a small child. She could not be given citizenship because she was a minor. (You cannot become a citizen until you are 18 yrs old) H...

First, I wonder how differently the outcome would be if the Democrats were polled. As a Southerner, I can say that most Democrats I know are more closed minded on race issues than Republicans. Second, what ethnic groups were surveyed? Did they know if they were talking to a white and not a native am...

I was reading AFA Journal commentary by Tim Wildmon about Rick Perry's Prayer Gathering and the Freedom From Religion Foundation's Response gathering. I was taken aback at the following in bold: Seems to me, an objective observer would have to ask himself who is the greater fool: the Christian insid...

I was not offended by this and no one in my family uses bad language. I think they were all saying "famine." Who knows what GH was saying. Maybe he said "freaking" like so many kids say today. As to famine not being manmade. Yes, God "has his way in the whirlwind and the clo...

This type of serious world knowledge and commentary is why I like Huckabee. And he didn't have a gaggle of foreign policy experts to help him understand it.

I tried to like Palin during the election campaign and couldn't. She seemed like an air head beauty queen, but recently I have started rooting for her. Sure, she is not a polished speaker in front of a camera like Huckabee and she's weak on a number of policy issues. But she's got gumption, she's no...

If it was my daughter, I would say to just go thru the scanner rather than the more traumatic "pat down". Supposedly, the one viewing the scan can't see your face to identify you.

The administration is pretty smart handing out the waivers because those people now have no incentive to repeal the law. Hey, it's not their problem any more and like the clip said, these are the powerful groups with money and clout. That leaves the ordinary joes and smaller businesses as the ones w...
