I thought this was pertinent. :) Huckabee Vows to Support McCain Regardless of His Veep's Abortion Stance http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/08/15/politics/fromtheroad/entry4354061.shtml As other have stated, Huck's Army is a community not an organization. We might differ on specific strategies but w...

Guys, calm down. This is a clear and concerted push to knock Huckabee out of the VP running. They grabbed whatever they could (which wasn't much) and are launching a controversy. The joke didn't go off well, but it's nearly impossible to question the motive behind the statement (i.e. humorous, not t...

Hi, my name is Mariah, I'm the eldest daughter of the navyqueen. I guess that makes me a navyprincess! I called in to the Adam McManus Show, I didn't get to speak because they ran out of time. :( I wanted to tell them about how I got to go to MO to campaign and KS to hear my...

My daughter is on hold now. Both of my girls are Huckabee supporters. :D :D I sure wish people old enough to vote were as well informed as my 8 and 10 year olds are. Your daughter was wonderful! Alex and I didn't get to interact with her much on the air, but we wanted to let her know that we are ve...

The phone calls are our best chance to get Huckabee voters OUT TO VOTE and to sway undecided voters. I got a democrat to commit to voting for Huckabee because wanted to mess things up for McCain. I was also able to encourage two Ron Paul supporters to vote for Huckabee in order to stop McCain -- tel...

Guys, the obvious point here is TURNOUT. We must count on McCain's supporter to feel like he has the nomination in the bag and on Huckabee supporters to vote even if they have to crawl on their hands and knees to get there. This is why the phone-banking is so important. Spend as much time as possibl...

The question is if Huckabee’s remaining vote in Bossier, Caddo and DeSoto can hold off McCain’s remainig vote in Orleans and East Baton Rouge.

I hate to say it, but if East Baton Rouge keeps trending the way it does McCain is going to take Louisiana. He's set to gain 7,000-8,000 from Orleans and East Baton Rouge alone.

I'm at work, can anyone make calls to Virginia for me? I fell useless here. I suggests everyone calls 20, then sits down for 2 minutes on Huck's Army and then calls another 20. VA is important!!!!!! Please people. Make phone calls. The results are not coming in for at least an hour. Let's all make ...

Wow. This just keeps getting more and more exciting. It's so hard to pull myself away! But I realize I'm wasting precious hours that I can be making phone calls into Virginia, so I'm going to go make 10 calls, then check back here, make 10 more calls, then check back here, etc. Who's with me?! http...

Another friend just called from the Washougal caucus. Huckabee was first with 32 percent (or votes, not sure). Ron Paul was second. McCain and Romney were tied for last.

Our friend reports in from his Washington caucus location:

Quote:
Yahoo!

Our caucus in Battle Ground results were:

Huckabee 71 votes 44%
McCain 43 votes 27%
Paul 34 votes 21%
Romney 12 votes 7%

Not a difficult process to participate in, and surprisingly Huckable!

http://www.cpac.org/strawpoll_08/2-08_CPAC_Straw_Poll.ppt We got clobbered at CPAC..... but by and large it was all Romney folks. They schedule Huckabee after the voting had already ended and were clearly angling to "annoint" Romney the same way FRC tried to. If you want to voice your opi...
