HLGU Booster Banquet to feature Mike Huckabee

Hannibal, MO —

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee will be the featured speaker at the 70th Annual Hannibal-LaGrange University Booster Banquet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, in the Mabee Sports Complex.
Huckabee is the host of the number one rated “HUCKABEE” on the Fox News Channel, and is heard three times daily across the nation on the “Huckabee Report” syndicated by the Citadel Media Network, it has been the fastest growing new program on the Citadel Media Network in recent years. He is the author of seven books. From 1996-2007, Huckabee served as the 44th Governor of Arkansas.
A significant part of his early adult life was spent as a pastor and denominational leader. He became the youngest president ever of the Arkansas Southern Baptist State Convention, the largest denomination in Arkansas. Huckabee led rapidly growing congregations in Pine Bluff and Texarkana. The former governor and his wife, Janet, live in Florida. They have three grown children: John Mark, David and Sarah.
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the meal will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale July 1, and prices are as follows: $60 for general admission tickets before Nov. 1, 2011, includes banquet admission; $80 for general admission tickets on and after Nov. 1, 2011, includes banquet admission; $200 for executive admission tickets, includes admission to a special private reception with Huckabee from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., a signed copy of “A Simple Government” and a reserved seat at the banquet. Attendees to the special private reception will be able to meet Mike Huckabee and have a photo with him.
