$1.87 now in Peoria AZ. We were paying that when we moved here in 2004. Filled up for 26 dollars after doing it for over 50. It makes a difference.

I hope people realize that part of the price dip is the lower demand. if we keep the little changes we've made..park n ride to work, carpooling, etc, we can keep demand lower than expected.

I don't think it will last, but would be gland for a level two and change 'permanently' Pray God we don't get back to a 4 dollar speculators market for many a moon!

In 1983...gas was 1.13 a gallon.......

Considering inflation and etc.etc. our current Gas average is pretty darn good for 25 years later.

Last night on one end of my town the gas stations had it for $1.75. On the other end they had it for like $1.54 and $1.59 if I remember right. My town isn't very big either... it's crazy.

I must say though that I am very thankful that gas prices have went down (even if they are playing with the prices a little). Lower gas prices are definitely something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season!

I posted here back on October 28th, and gas in our area of Southern California was $2.95/gallon. (which was great, compared to $4.43/gallon in July!)

Today, November 25th, one month later, gas is $1.99/gallon. Unbelieveable!
....AND, three days later, it dropped 10 cents, to.... $1.89/gallon. By Christmas, it'll be lower than $1.50, I think, if this keeps up! :D

K.C. MO - at the Pilot station on the Missouri side of the Missouri River, gasoline was $1.43. This was the best price we saw driving from Illinois to Kansas.

My husband will drive several miles out of the way to save a few pennies :) It is like a game or a challenge for him to find the cheapest fuel. He strategizes by trying to fill up in Missouri before we come to Kansas, and on Indian reservations where there is no tax. We filled up at Liberty, MO Phillips 66 for $1.46 and thought that was great. But, alas, we missed the lowest price. :(

Gas prices went as low as $1.63/gallon here (we were thrilled....but it didn't last long...) They went down just until Christmas, and then, immediately after, began to climb up again.

Now, prices have gone up to $2.03/gallon. (in just about a month)

(can't help it, I feel like "THEY" are messing with us!)

Just remember if the gasoline contains ethanol it will decrease your gas mileage. We buy gasoline only from stations which do not have ethanol.
