Obama campaigned as "everyman." Mike's portrait combined with his persona should put paid to that notion.

Nice portrait. My only grip is his tie color is wrong.

I looked at the painting and felt like I was looking at our next President. I hope and pray this comes to pass. What a wonderful portrait of a wonderful man. The only thing that would have made it better would be a purple tie.

He really captured the essence of Mike's personality. It is very nicely done and the tie is nearly purple.

Yes, that tie definitely is VIOLET - so we have purple-tinged blue! That's because he is our guy, but he is also everyone's guy! (Did that do it or do I need to keep working on it? )

Absolutely wonderful portrait! And yes, verrry presidential looking! It makes me wistful...

I've been wondering why the portrait was painted . . . I just came across it when searching twitter.

I'll see if I can find out - it is recent (tweeted today).

That is official Arkansas Governor portrait. It will leave the Governor's Confernce Room to go on display in the rotunda of the Arkansas Capitol when current Gov. Beebe' has his portrait finished.

Then they can move it to the White House in January 2013!

Well I had it embedded above for a while. I am guessing that the URL I used was temporary. Someone has uploaded it to huck's army, here it is:
