Looks like Benishek tied Allen in Michigan each with 38% with 95.5% reporting. I would assume there will be a run-off.

A vice president for Americans for Prosperity just endorsed Todd Tiahrt for the U.S. Senate.

Alan Cobb, who has deep political roots in Kansas, said in an open letter today he could no longer stand on the sidelines.

Here’s the letter:

Quote:
Dear Kansas Friends and Conservatives,

Having professional relationships with both candidates in the U.S. Senate race, I was not going to get involved in this race. Recent actions by the Moran campaign have created a tipping point where I felt I had to weigh in.

The intimidation tactics used by the Moran campaign toward others who have decided to support Congressman Tiahrt have absolutely no place in Kansas politics. Having personally been the subject of attempted political intimidation in the past, I have a special sensitivity about such outrageous behavior.

For those of us who care about fiscal responsibility, Todd Tiahrt is the best choice for the U.S. Senate. He has a long and reliable track record supporting spending constraints. And he has opposed every tax increase since he has been in public office. In short, Todd is a fighter against government growth.

Here's the SOS link for Randy Bishop's race:

Well, it is pretty obvious that Politico is not going to do the obvious so I will.

The race has been called in favor of Billy Long for the Missouri state. 7th congressional district.
