This debate will be very demonstrative on just how far Saltsman is going to distance himself from Huckabee. The issue of the FairTax is sure to come up, and if Chip endorses it, it may appear that he is just a Huckabee front man.

Do we know if Chip is personally a friend or foe of the Fair Tax?

Could a pro Fair Tax view still indicate independent thinking?

Could opposition to Fair Tax still fail to override support for Huckabee in the future? :?: :?: :?:

"As for us, our days of combat are over. Our swords are rust. Our guns will thunder no more. The vultures that once wheeled over our heads must be buried with their prey. Whatever of glory must be won in the council or the closet, never again in the field. I do not repine. We have shared the incommunicable experience of war; we have felt, we still feel, the passion of life to its top."
