This is great news. Also, a good lesson in how not to take unreasonable bumps in polls too seriously.

I would like to see another poll of Florida for the Rep. nomination in 2012. I still can not believe that Romney would lead Huckabee by around 30 points as in the last one. Someone tell me how Florida can favor Rubio but not Huckabee? What kind of misinformation is/has been fed into that state regarding Romney and Huckabee? That previous poll is an enigma to me.

Hmmm This is interesting. If this trend continues for several months and the Democrat Meeks continues to trail Crist and Rubio by this much dou you think it would be in the realm of possibility that he would drop out and endorse Crist?

I don't know if any of you guys are subscribed to Marco Rubio's Youtube page, but he (I know it's not really him) comes out with some great videos.

This is his latest one, and I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

It is called "Wink, Wink"

I would be shocked to see Meek drop out. Unless the Florida Dem leaders cut a deal with Crist and force Meek out. I don't see that happening. It would also make Crist look even worse to change yet again.

Just saw this bit of information, so I thought I would add it here:

Quote:
Meek wins AFL-CIO endorsement in US Senate race
The Associated Press

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The labor union AFL-CIO has endorsed Democratic U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek in the race for Florida's open U.S. Senate seat.

Meek faced unusual competition for the endorsement from Gov. Charlie Crist, who's scraping for votes after abandoning his lifelong GOP membership by courting groups that typically back Democrats.

The governor, now running as an independent, was able to secure a joint endorsement from Florida's statewide teachers union.

But on Sunday the entire labor assembly backed Meek, who served seven years in the state Legislature before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002.

Meek and Crist are expected to face Republican candidate Marco Rubio in the November general election, though Meek and Rubio must first win their party's nomination in the August primary.

Very interesting. this pretty much tells me that Crist and Meeks will split the vote between themselves and make Rubio Florida's next US Senator!
