It is also disgusting to see how some in the Republican leadership are trying to screw him up, hoping for him to lose against Hillary Clinton, instead of getting behind the chosen candidate of the people. Watching that alone is reason enough to vote for him.
I am losing much respect for Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, who is refusing to say he will welcome Donald Trump to Ohio and to the Republican Convention, as governors always do when conventions come to their town. What is this? Without his support, the police are being left with a very inadequate budget to hire just 3,000 policemen and women where they must guard over 50,000 people in what may prove to be one of the most riotous and dangerous conventions in recent history. And it makes it worse to me that he claims to be taking the high road so his children will be proud of him. His duty as a fellow Republican candidate is to support Donald Trump as the nominee, as pledged. His duty as a governor is to make welcome the convention and, as titular head of Ohio Republican politics, to show his support.
