Democrats in Tennessee hold a slim advantage in the house, and this year the GOP looks to take 4 seats away from the dems. One race of HIGH interest and importance is the 77th house district. Republican Bill Sanderson of Kenton, TN, is a small town, conservative business owner, who has been endorsed by the Tennessee Right to Life. The largest town in the district is a Dem. POWER HOUSE (Dem. U.S. congressman John Tanner and two former state reps run the town), but the town votes Republican for Senate and President!!!! I am a volunteer for his campaign, and we need some ideas on how to get these conservative voters to give up their support for the hometown, rich, elitist, and liberal Democrats.

btw this is Bill's website: http://www.votebill.net

Another race is the one in the 71st house district. Randy Rinks(D) is stepping down this year, and Savannah attorney Vance Dennis(R) is running against Selmer businessman Stan Wheeler. Vance Dennis ran against Rinks last election and lost by about 3,000 votes. He narrowly won the primary this year.
All 3 counties in the 71st district are very Republican, but always have reelected Rinks.

His website is http://www.vancedennis.com
