If you only want to take an action on a single post on a thread there are several functions in the bottom right corner of each post that mods and admins can see - Report this post, Post details, Warn user, and Delete post.

If a member is not following the Rules for Forum Participation, you can send them a warning that will be recorded for other admins and mods to see which can be helpful in checking if there is a pattern that needs to be addressed (e.g. banning).

The Delete post option sometimes needs to be used, but please remember to copy and paste the post into the Topic Watch List or User Watch List before deleting from the original thread.
