Today you'll notice many exciting changes to the Huck's Army forum! Below is background and a brief explanation of the the changes.

Over the last few weeks many of you have weighed in with ideas to tweak, re-tool and otherwise improve the forums here at Huck's Army. We've been working hard in the Members forum to synthesize these suggestions into a workable plan that will improve everyone's user experience. Last night, thanks to one of our incredible Administrators, Ken, the changes were made and what you see today is the result of all of our efforts.

It's my hope that the changes serve to improve everyone's user experience. Huck's Army, as a community, never stays still. It's never static, continuously growing and, as such, always changing. These improvements will go a long way to continue to support and grow our vibrant community.

Overview:
  • Eliminate redundant or duplicate forums through consolidation and archiving.
  • Renaming forums with clearer, easier to understand names.
  • Making the navigation easier traverse and simpler to understand by reducing the number of subforums and flattening the forum.
  • Reorganizing groups and relocating forums so the discussion is grouped in a logical, coherent manner.

Exciting New Forums:
  • Introductions
  • Internet Polls To Vote In
  • Huckabee Truth Squad
  • HuckPAC Endorsed Candidates

Please take a few minutes to look around and explore the new navigation. We think you'll like what you see!

After taking another good look over what you have done, you are right, it is exciting! Great job! Everything is so neat, organized, and easy to access.

I did spot a couple of things that you may want to correct:

Under "Links" - Leadership Institute is missing a "t" (don't ask me why my eyes spot these things - I call them professional proofreading eyes - weird, I know, but they come in handy sometimes)

Under "Forum Leadership" - Jason's name is still on there - should he be taken off?

Under "Videos" - the videos all appear to be on top of each other??? (maybe this is just something weird with my computer - it seemed to have a hard time loading on this page)

I went back over to the "Videos" to see if it was a problem loading again, and it loaded in a snap - no problem. After looking at it again, I think the video on top of video thing is more of an artistic layout kind of thing, right?

I definitely like the new forum areas. It will make it much easier to find topics, since they are grouped together now. I would like to suggest to group discussion of poll results with the internet polls to vote in forum.

Good job, Ken and all!
I have one small suggestion. Could we please activate the "Top" links found at the bottom left of each post? It would make returning to the top of the page, to click the "View active topics" button, for instance, much faster.
Thanks!

Ooohh, great idea. I didn't even know it existed. That will save some time and wear on my index/scrolling finger.

Ditto for me! Many, many thanks to all who are using their time and talents to bless America with a leader like Gov. Huckabee!

Sorry if I'm being ignorant, but...I went to the new forum "Huckabee Truth Squad," but I didn't see any place to click in order to start a new topic there. (I have an article I wrote about Wayne DuMond I'd love to share!)

I just tried and it worked. Right under the heading "Huckabee Truth Squad" there is a button labeled "New Topic", just click on it and you're all set.

There is also no "New Topic" button under Huck PAC Candidates category. I also tried the Truth Squad one and also no button. Can only moderators see this button right now???????

Thank you for the hard work on these changes. Looks great!

Regarding the Truth Squad and Huck PAC candidates forums, can you see the New Topic button now?

I voted on the poll and there was no post button either and Mike is at 16% to Romney's 29%.
