If I knew how to link the interview of Huckabee on Newsmax television, I would. It was quite interesting and had a panel of two men, including Dick Morris. (Didn't he help advise Gov. Huckabee way back on one of his political campaigns?) Huckabee was there on Skype.

At the very end of the interview, when they were asking Mike if he would run for President, Dick Morris can be heard saying, "I tried for three years to get him to run for President."

I think Morris is not the only one thinking that Gov. Huckabee should run and could win.

A little Huckbee/Morris anecdote:

Quote:
Washington, D.C.– If nothing else, pollster Dick Morris sees the humor in his abysmal 2012 presidential tea leaf reading.

During the Road to Majority Conference, hosted Thursday by the conservative Faith and Freedom Coalition, Fox News host Mike Huckabee recounted his 1993 bid for Arkansas’ lieutenant governor with Morris as his political consultant.

Huckabee said that on election night, with the results of only five counties in, Morris told him with certitude, “You’re gonna win.”

“I told [Mitt] Romney the same thing!” Morris yelled out to laughter from the audience.

“You were better 22 years ago,” Huckabee joked. “You should have stuck with me.”

Dick Morris is quite the fan of Huckabee! He would like for him to run again, and he calls him a true fiscal conservative in this interview.

I wonder if Morris wants to be Huckabee's campaign manager? Not that I would want him to be that.
