Folks,

I am looking to get in touch with those of you who are active. Would you mind shooting me a PM?

Or reply to this thread and I will reach out to you.

Hi, Adam! Yes, I am active here and waiting for dear friends who supported Gov. Huckabee to "come back." I also support the Facebook sites that are encouraging Gov. Huckabee's possible Presidential race. But I do feel that we can reunite here if he decides to run. Some find the blog a little cumbersome, and we can improve that as those who have the technical skills return and offer expertise.

The tools at the blog here are tremendous, really. We can go to the Board Index and actually see how many people are following this blog in the last 5 minutes. What I like best, perhaps, is being able to go back in time and find topics or people to follow. This is like a huge library of helpful information from the past, which can be compared to what is happening now. It can give us insights into what perhaps can be done better. Huck's Army had a tremendous part to play in getting Gov. Huckabee as close to victory in 2008 as he was. And it provided a real network of workers that I don't think we want to lose.

I am active in the sense that I'm ready to get involved - but I'm still waiting to hear that it's really going to happen. I felt burned and disappointed in 2012. :(

This is what will be called "regrouping"!

If there is anything I have learned about politics over the last six years it is to not let hurt feelings stop me from being involved with what is as crucial as defeating this administration and the socialist, leftist policies that threaten to destroy our nation.

Our attack needs to be turned that direction, not against our own troops. We have had too many internecine battles, let our feelings get hurt, and lashed out.

It means lots of swallowing sometimes, forgiveness, and getting up again to do what is right and brave. This is the true mark of a leader and a patriot. Standing for principle.

"Come let us reason together," as Mike Huckabee often said. Agreeing to disagree on some things will just have to be learned. But uniting on the essentials will, too. And politeness and respect for every person, even those we disagree with, are things Gov. Huckabee has taught us work best.

That is how we will win. That, and much prayer and repentance. Our pastors will once again need to be involved, maybe preaching those "election day" sermons that were typical in another generation. Holding us to the principles of the Book.

Don't let the enemy "divide and conquer" us!

I have always liked Rollins. He had a "plan" to help Huckabee win in 2012 and was VERY disappointed with him for not running.

It depends on what you mean by active... but I'm somewhat active I guess you could say, especially since we don't know when or if Gov. Mike will be running.
If you are interested I can put you in touch with the Mike Huckabee for America group (includes Huck's Army members such as LoriJ from Iowa, Brian from GA, Randy from IA, to name a few).

Or you can even contact them through the Mike Huckabee for America FB page: https://www.facebook.com/HuckabeeforAmerica
Click on "Join Our Movement" on the page to sign up and you'll be added to the grassroots list. I believe the "Mike Huckabee for America" page will be the grassroots force behind Gov. Huckabee should he run again and not so much the Huck's Army page. One reason is that the above FB page has close to 70,000 likes and the Huck's Army FB page has less than 7,000.

Thanks, Roanna. I also support and post on the facebook page Mike Huckabee for America, where some of my very good friends are working to get Gov. Huckabee's message out. I particularly appreciate the Huckabee quotes in the photo section, which we will be able to pull out for campaign purposes.

However, I think both Huck's Army and MHFA will be useful and needed. I see this site as being used in a little different way. The name, Huck's Army, indicates to me that this will be a place for serious strategy, in that way similar to what an army is.

However, we are united in serving Governor Huckabee. We must not let anything divide us.

I might also say that I feel that in our nation the greatest enemy we are facing is a spiritual one. Possibly as never before, the great enemy of freedom and faith--Satan--is trying to destroy every vestige of Christian influence in our nation. Just as he is doing now in the Middle East and even across Europe. One of his strategies is to divide and conquer. I will try very hard, with God's help, not to let that happen here.

Let us pray for one another. Let us pray for America. Let us pray and come together, for we are in the most serious danger we have ever been as a nation. We may be in the starting stages, or halfway, but the loss of freedom and the attack on our traditional values has never been greater. We cannot afford to be sidetracked from our mission, which is to help Gov. Mike Huckabee to be equipped and encouraged to run for President, because we believe he is God's man for the hour.

Oh no, I wasn't saying that Huck's Army wouldn't be useful at all. Just that it seems many inactive members have transferred over to Facebook and the Mike Huckabee for America pages since this site hasn't been as active and maybe they have a bigger outreach.

Also, I know in 2012, there wasn't a consensus on who we (HA members) all thought should be president and posting dwindled. If Gov. Huckabee does run, hopefully posting will pick back up here as well.

That being said I would like to see the home page blog change and be updated. It's over a year old and the top information is focused on immigration and Dennis Lynch. Is that what we want to be highlighting at the top of the home page?

I am ready "to be made active". Just waiting for things to pick up pace.

Whether on here or somewhere else. I hope on here, too, though.

I also check this forum several times a day for any news. Disappointed there's not much conversation. Have been tempted to ask if there is another site more active. Leaning toward Mike but keeping an open mind. Very disappointed when he didn't run in 2012!

The Mike Huckabee for America (MHFA) Forum is the most active group on Facebook and is the discussion part of the official grassroots group (Huckabee's website recognizes MHFA as a grassroots friend) this time around. Many of the former Huck's Army members are members and/or leaders of the MHFA grassroots.

If you're on Facebook, you should be able to request to join here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MikeHuc ... ricaForum/

You may be asked to fill out the Mike Huckabee for America volunteer/grassroots form here before being granted access: https://www.facebook.com/HuckabeeforAme ... 5102528120

I'm glad there is activity going on over there, but I am personally much averse to Facebook and how they operate. However, I might have to bite the bullet and sign up :wall
