Good job in reporting a full Huckabee event in Iowa:

I especially like this:

“Yeah, I would sign it, but I think it’s important for us to note that when people file a bill, that doesn’t mean it’s gonna become law. A lot of people say I’m gonna file, I’m gonna introduce an amendment — what’s important is when does it get signed? When does it become law? We need a President who can shepherd legislation through. It’s one of the reasons that I think, somebody who has been a governor, who has understood the process and the role of getting a piece of legislation — not introduced, heck, anybody can do that — can you get it delivered all the way to the point of signature and law?” Huckabee said.

I believe Huckabee is a pragmatic ideologue.
He's an ideologue: He fervently believes in conservatism
He's pragmatic: He knows when it's time to cut a deal, or you'll get nothing at all.

That's why we don't need a Bush: He's pragmatic, but not an ideologue.
Neither a Cruz or Trump: All ideology, no pragmatism.

He is no fool, who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose. -Jim Elliot

I saw mike being interviewed this morning on Fox News over setting up the infrastructure for the vote next year. He spoke of his own volunteers called "Huck's Army" to help him in this effort. My eyebrows went up on high alert. Hmmmm, I thought, I am being mustered for duty soon. :allgood :up

Does anyone plan on going to Iowa around caucus time? I'm wondering if the campaign will actually need volunteers on the ground. If they can use me , I'd like to plan to be there. S. Carolina too.
