Huckabee Blasts Obama for Calling Israel Attacks 'Random Violence'

GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee Monday slammed President Barack Obama for calling strikes on Israelis "random violence," insisting the attacks on Israeli soldiers, clerics and more are "targeted attacks."
"This is an attempt to stir up more trouble in the Middle East, specifically within Israel," the former Arkansas governor told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "I don't know how the president can come to the conclusion that this sort of happened randomly on the streets."
Huckabee continued that the incidents can't be considered the "street crime where people are mugging old ladies for money."
"These are unprovoked, murderous attacks to stab innocent police officers and to try to create a level of disruption to the flow of life there," he said. "That's not random."
During a Friday press conference at the White House, the president called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and other leaders to "recognize that this kind of random violence is not going to result in anything other than more hardship and more insecurity," reports CNN.
Huckabee said he fears the Israeli government will be condemned for doing what they have to do to protect their citizens, including the use of barriers and a wall to keep out attackers.
