Well here's a huge bit of campaign news that we've ignored so far: Senator Sam Brownback is out. What do you think it means for Mike Huckabee? Do you think Brownback will endorse Huckabee? What do you think it means for the FRC Straw Poll? What do you think it means for the future debates? In other words, will this make a big difference or little to no difference?

Today's THV has an excellent piece on Huckabee getting a nod from the New York Times as Brownback bows out of the race.

I'm really hoping it gives another surge to bring Mike up a few more points. The closer he gets to Romney in Iowa the better. Brownback and Huckabee were probably the closest of candidates in belief. I don't know if Brownback will endorse Huckabee, but I think most of his supporters will still go to Huckabee. No one else really has what they're looking for.
