I don't know how to quote external links so here goes...

http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stori ... 125&EDATE=

"LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Presidential
Candidate Mike Huckabee announced the endorsement of the Arizona Right to
Life Political Action Committee (AZ RTL PAC). According to Arizona RTL PAC
leaders, the endorsement is based on Huckabee's strong pro-life record and
ongoing activism on behalf of the right to life movement."

That's the first paragraph

Isn't this still kind of a blow to McCain? I realize McCain is far from 100% pro-life record, but he is from Arizona and is "relatively" pro-life.

This is from their January 2008 newsletter. There is no link but thanks you to blestmom for providing a copy of the newsletter. PM me for a pdf copy of it.

Alaska Right to Life wrote:
It was just after 5:00 pm on January 17th, during the AKRTL
monthly meeting, when a call came in from presidential candidate,
Mike Huckabee. His flight had been delayed, so Mr.
Huckabee was able to converse with the Board and summarized
his pro-life philosophies. He also answered several questions or
concerns that many board members posed.
After much debate and many opinions being expressed, the
majority of the directors for Alaska Right to Life came to the
decision to back Governor Mike Huckabee for President.
The
Board determined that Governor Huckabee believes strongly in
the sanctity of human life, and will further the pro-life agenda,
which is to defend and protect innocent human life from the moment
of conception until natural end of life. It’s vital that Alaskans
with this belief be involved with the political process.
On “Super Tuesday”, February 5th, 2008 between the hours of
4:30pm- 8:30pm Alaskan Pro-Lifers can, and should, go to their
Presidential Preference Polling place and vote their pro-life conscience.
This vote will have a binding effect on the delegates
from Alaska to the Republican National Convention where the
Republican Party will nominate their candidate for president in
Minneapolis, MN, from Sept.1st-4th.

They are rolling in. Let's hope we can get some national attention for these.

It's very interesting and I wouldnt be surprised if this gets national attention:

"With Thompson out, Right to Lifers rush to Huckabee"

Yes, its a hit. hard core conservatives don't much like McCAin here, but he's still leading in polls as hometown boy.

More importantly, I'm interested to see if we'll see any grassroots activity out of the organization because the only signs of life here now are for Hillary, Obama in ads and Ron Paul in street signs.

I'd like to see this goup doing some get out the vote activities

I realize it's highly unlikely, but I can't even IMAGINE how bad it would hurt McCain if we came in first in AZ (even though I know it won't happen)

This flood of RTL endorsements in a short time period will draw more attention than the same number trickling in over several months. God's timing is always exquisite! He is, of course, aware of the Florida and Super Tuesday primaries...

The most important thing is for the RTL groups to mobilize and make phone calls and/or pass our fliers.

This is true. I know most every state RTL group sends out a newsletter that they will put the endorsement in. This is better than any direct mail that the campaign could send.
