I still don't know why they are doing McCain/Romney matchups. Get over it people. It's McCain/Huckabee/Paul. Your golden boy quit!

Actually Paul quit today, too.

Remember, the popular vote doesn't win elections. Ask Al Gore, he will tell you that. So, if the dems are pumped and have record turnout in their tradition blue states, then thats not a big deal. However, if they turn out in traditional red states, then thats huge trouble for the GOP.

The state GOP has 47 delegates, but all will be uncommitted, unless a candidate wins 50 percent of the vote. If, for example, McCain wins a majority, he will win 20 delegates while the other 27 will remain uncommitted, state GOP Chairman Roger Villere said. A state party convention Feb. 16 will resolve more of the GOP delegate picture.

Late changes

McCain's task will be made harder by the fact that several candidates who have dropped out of the race are still on the ballot and their votes will be counted. Dardenne said his office has not received withdrawal papers from any of the candidates who have dropped out or put their campaigns on hold.

''State law requires that all votes be counted'' even among inactive candidates, he said.

You should come to Washington more often, it doesn't just rain all the time while we sip our cappuccinos. I've been to other states, and on sunny days you can't beat the scenery. But we don't like to spread that around, lest more Californians move up (Hint).

Hahah thanks for the info Matt. Oh and about Washington State...I did enjoy my time there. We arrived in Tacoma at daybreak and seeing the mountains in the early morning sunrise was beautiful. I also enjoyed smelling the pine trees when we were coming in Puget Sound. Anyways, I agree with you when it doesn't rain its as scenic as you can get. Oh and sorry about the Cali influx....I've been there too and I must say I like the East coast a whole lot better.

Well I have got to leave for work right now, I havent had any more donations since the 50 and 60 dollar donations by michiana4huckabee and muzwiz.

when I get back from work in the morning, nothing would excite my heart more than finding out that Huck has won 2 more primaries today and that my PM box is filled up with people who wanted me to match their donations today! :D :D :D

Donate and the PM to let me know. I want to help raise $1000 today. Lets Roll!

Agreed!

Still, Mike will pump up the party better than McCain.

We got clobbered at CPAC..... but by and large it was all Romney folks.

They schedule Huckabee after the voting had already ended and were clearly angling to "annoint" Romney the same way FRC tried to.

If you want to voice your opinion you can:

I think any news about CPAC's poll is a net negative for us.

I vote that we promote the Kansas victory and the CPAC speech, but not address the poll.
