This is starting to get some buzz.....I could definitely see Paul Ryan giving Obama a hard time if he decides to run. Maybe he needs a former Governor to shore up the south and the evangelicals etc.....Ryan/ Huckabee 2012

My first take is to say he's not running for senate because it's far from certain he would win. Add to that that he's one of the most powerful people in the House, and to my mind you've got a decent recipe for staying put.

I heard Paul Ryan on a Wisconsin radio station recently. He will be giving his constituents an answer as to whether or not he'll be seeking the Senate race very soon. There are also rumors that former Gov. Tommy Thompson is considering running for the Senate seat. If he does, I doubt Ryan will compete against him.

I like Paul Ryan and think he is doing a very good job right where he is. He is very young and as he says so are his kids. I'd be very surprised if Ryan throws his hat in the Presidential race this time around.

I am not sure if the article above mentioned it but the news in Wisconsin is that former Governor Tommy Thompson will be running for Senate. That's why I think Paul Ryan isn't going to run.

I think he is pretty solid. He was among the first batch of HuckPAC candidates endorsed in 2008...he was unopposed last time (thus no endorsement needed).

Paul Ryan has already stated before that he will not seek the presidency in 2012. It's possible that he could change his mind, but I doubt he will.

I have heard Ryan mention his small children and I don't think he would even consider running for president while they are young. I think he wanted to be able to spend time with them. Besides, he is quite young and not really ready IMO....and if Governor Huckabee didn't want to be president, he would never even consider vp. I think he is happy at FOX. Even though that is certainly not where I'd like to see him, if it makes him happy he should go for it.
