The one tonight is on CNN, 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM God's country (central), so I assume that makes it 5 PM live for the left coast. In this situation do they normally re-air it for y'all? I couldn't find anything telling me specifically.

Anyway, it'll be online here: http://live.cnn.com/ at 8 eastern.

I'm not looking forward to the debate generally, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Gingrich and Bachmann look and perform with all the other candidates. I feel like I already have a decent grasp of how the other candidates (Pawlenty, Romney, Cain, Paul, Santorum) will do.

I feel like the Bowl Season is about to begin and there is no SEC team in any game. Weird.

I know! I'll think of it as NASCAR and just watch it for the crashes.

This is just how I was planning on watching! Without Huck I have no one to cheer for. Just watching to see who sticks their foot in their mouth and who steps on who's toes.

Ok, I have no strong preference other than a slight preference for Tim Pawlenty, but here are my predictions for tonight before the "debate". By the way, it's not really a debate, it's more like a glorified press conference. Basically everyone will do well, but here are a few details;

Herman Cain-wows again, but does not give many specifics, will not gain much.
Romney-will try to look the tough anti Obama guy. He will do well and hold his lead.
Ron Paul, well, you know.....
Tim Pawlenty-actually will do the best. I personally think he is underrated and will begin to stand out with specifics. He will not "win" as there is simply not enough time and there are too many candidates to stand out, but he will do the best overall as he has more to gain due to lower name recognition.
Gingrich-will do ok in this "debate" format, but will not "win".
Michele Bachman-A very smart charismatic candidate-will do well.

Pawlenty just chickened out on his chance to slam Romneycare.

You're right. Romney totally one-upped Pawlenty there. Big mistake for Pawlenty.

Bachmann is doing really well, I think.

I can't help myself, I keep playing Huck's likely responses to all of the questions in my head. So far he's winning.

Good, a question about the space program. I like that they are talking about renewing the program in a more efficient focused way.

Newt, as I suspected, has come off as a little defensive and angry already. That's not going to sell well.

This is from the Corner at NRO, and I concur,

"Half an hour into this debate, Romney is shining as the most polished candidate with the smartest, most well-considered answers. He looks like the adult in the room. Gingrich, a super-smart guy, doesn’t have enough time to vent his brain on each question. Bachmann has risen to be the more formidable Romney alternative. Her answers are well-spoken and to the point. If you are Pawlenty, Cain or Santorum, you’ve got to be feeling left out right now. They are missing their opportunities, as is Herman Cain, the breakout star of the South Carolina debate."

Tim Pawlenty is coming off as pretty smart on the issues. I like him even more now. Newt, he is so focused on specifics (obscure but important issues). He would be better as a consultant to the president.

Cain, I like him, but he is not the best here tonight. Romney, comes off as fake. Sometimes he says the right things, occasionally not, but he comes off as pre-programmed.

BTW, for me, Leno and American Idol.

John King needs to realize it's futile to try to stop these guys once they get going. He keeps trying to stop them after every other word and it's kinda distracting.

Why did CNN not have any lights to keep them on a time schedule (1 minute, 30 seconds, etc)? Lights are way cooler than John King's grunting after every word.

I'm about 1/2 hour behind the rest of you, because I had to DVR it (at least I can fast forward through Romney!  ). Bachmann seems strong to me so far. Still wish Mike was there...

Me too! I'm glad I'm not the only one that's behind. :D Right now Newt is answering the NASA question.

I think it's inappropriate that they've left only the last 15 or so minutes to foreign policy. Foreign policy is a lot of what the president has sole jurisdiction over; I think 40+ minutes would make more sense. They need to stop the frivolous "this or that" questions, too. I don't care whether Pawlenty likes coke or pepsi.
