Ah, melopa, give it a rest already. You have recycled the mega military support argument so many times & it gets you nowhere - why keep it going? I had to restrain myself from posting the Paulbot video clip here - Constitution - money bomb - liberty - liberty - money bomb.

Sure, okay, the majority of our military guys are a bunch of isolationist pacifists who don't actually want to fight anybody. Yep, that's a rational argument for convincing us not to vote for our own beliefs and principles because they no longer have any value. Where's the ledge? Your lemmings are ready...

Can't you list anything you want as your employer when donating to a campaign with also the option of just leaving it blank?

If you do leave it blank, the campaign has to at least put on their report that they requested that information from you. If I remember correctly, in the FEC report, it will show as, "Requested".

Seems clear now that Pawlenty exitted the race much too soon. I heard a vague reference to him today and it got me thinking that Gingrich probably took his bounce. I don't think Pawlenty would have fallen as quickly if at all and would be challenging for 1st in IA now.

Excellent point! What a mistake.

And I not help. Nor word now of success:
All is from wreck, here, there, to rescue one—
Work which to see scarce so much as begun
Makes welcome death, does dear forgetfulness.
Or what is else? There is your world within.

I just read an article yesterday where Pawlenty was saying he invested way too much time & money into Iowa's Straw Poll. He was hoping it would give him a bounce, but instead it used up his campaign funds and he had nothing left but fumes to run on when it was over. He said that is his biggest regret.
