Looks like C-SPAN is airing some local coverage.

This floating around on twitter:

Wow. Paid media $/vote so far: Santorum $1.65, Bachmann $8, Romney $113.07, Gingrich $139 Paul $227, Perry $817. #iacaucus

Those low-cost votes remind you of low-cost votes for anyone in the past? :) It's not always the money that counts...

So, Perry to reconsider whether to advance with the campaign. He'll get out. Wish we would've heard that kind of humility from Bachmann's speech.

Why does Fox continue to employ Carl Cameron? It's a two person race after tonight? Really?

Sigh. :?

Some are saying he has decided to drop out - rumors are rampant tonite! Perry had more reason to argue for continuing than Bachmann. She can't possibly go anywhere from here.

goalieman, I second Miserere's welcome back (or I guess third)! Who does Cameron consider the two in the two-man race besides Romney? Just watched on another channel where they were saying that Santorum's showing here is meaningless and he can't possibly be a threat to Romney.

We can expect to get a full throttle pitch on the Romney inevitability theme from here!

I'm guessing "campaign" Carl thinks it's now between Mittens and Santorum. Carl probably also still thinks Huck has dropped out of Florida too. :x

How childish! This is a tweet from Ron Paul's Twitter account.

Santo is giving a great, presidential speech.

This is crazy. Santorum is 5 votes ahead of Romney with 98% of precincts reporting.

Well, I do like Santorum's speech here. Just hope his 5 vote lead holds up!

Apparently a lot of people think it's hilarious. I think it's childish. They're running for president, not student council! I would expect this kind of behavior from some of his supporters but for Paul himself to participate in it really lowers my respect for him.

My thoughts exactly! It might be funny if it was from a supporter but not from the OFFICIAL campaign account!! :wall-yellow

Not exactly the greatest sign of mental stability here. What's the thought process behind this?

Umm...err...they do realize that there are 49 other states to go. They make it seem like Iowa has just decided the next president...

LOL, if the same logic had been applied to the 2008 race, it would have been a two-person race between Huckabee and Romney after Iowa (McCain finished in 4th place in Iowa).

In New Hampshire, Gingrich will be more aggressive in campaigning against Romney. Plus, Gingrich has the support of the state's most influential conservative newspaper, so Romney will have a more difficult time attacking Newt with the Union Leader helping him fight back. Huntsman has been gaining support and he is also aggressively campaigning against Romney. :D Perry and Bachmann are effectively out of the race. It will be interesting to see if Santorum's support in the state is boosted after Iowa. The race only gets more interesting from here... 8)

It makes a certain amount of sense. Perry spent time and money in IA and couldn't do much with it. Now he's out of money. And frankly I think Perry has wanted out of this race for months. He looked relieved tonight.
