I find it odd that the Dems are still trying to punish success and reward failure. I was pleased to see that my neighbors to the north are smarter than many seemed to think. The voters choose to keep the man in office that is balancing the budget and passing legislation that has been helping the state create jobs rather than fire him and hire a man that has been doing just the opposite for his city.

This is a big honkin deal.

Wisconsin is the historic center of progressivism in many ways.

They waste, they wither worse; they as they run

And I not help. Nor word now of success:
All is from wreck, here, there, to rescue one—
Work which to see scarce so much as begun
Makes welcome death, does dear forgetfulness.
Or what is else? There is your world within.
There rid the dragons, root out there the sin.

This was a really big deal. Long-term it says good things about America's future. Where a lot of the conservative pundits are missing it though is they are trying to apply this to November's election, and it isn't going to have much impact on the Presidential election. Romney is no Scott Walker, and while I think Wisconsin will be much closer than 2008 I don't see Romney winning it or the election in general.

The real lesson is that when you are willing to stand up and do the right thing the voters will support you. Americans reward leadership.

P.S. The above comments apply to most states. I cannot speak for places like California or other states currently dominated by the far left.
